Their latest release is the Furlan Marri Disco Volante, a modern revival of a less popular vintage case style that’s sometimes referred to as a flying saucer case.
There are three colorways: Havana (salmon and brown), Celeste (shades of blue and white), and Verde (green and cream). The green has me swooning. Each variant showcases a four-part dial with semi-sector designs, featuring applied hour markers at 12, 3, and 9 o’clock. The dials are adorned with double-printed indicators and text, and a subdial for small seconds positioned at six o’clock. An exterior minute track labeled at five-minute intervals adds a sporty touch, which is further accentuated by luminous hands and rings encircling the dial sectors and subdial.
The watch’s design is thoughtfully executed, with lugs tucked under the case, giving it a seamless appearance when worn. Each Disco Volante comes with two straps that have curved end links to fit snugly against the case. The crown is discreetly integrated into the case band, maintaining the watch’s sleek profile. The case itself is stepped into two distinct segments, adding depth and boldness to what is traditionally a flat design.
