This week we wax poetic on the profundity of the “one watch collection”… and debate whether such a thing is even possible anymore. It’s something we’ve discussed throughout various episodes, but this is the first time we’ve seriously tried to put ourselves in the shoes of something trying to go through the process. Needles to say, the discussion and mental exercises are eye opening and ultimately we reach a conclusion on how to treat the “one watch collection.”
In addition, put grilled cheese sandwiches in safety deposit boxes. Banks love it when you do that.

Kaz has been collecting watches since 2015, but he’s been fascinated by product design, the Collector’s psychology, and brand marketing his whole life. While sharing the same strong fondness for all things horologically-affordable as Mike (his TBWS partner in crime), Kaz’s collection niche is also focused on vintage Soviet watches as well as watches that feature a unique, but well-designed quirk or visual hook.
