This week the guys just talk about birds. That’s it – they’re the Two Broke Bird Snobs now. Mike is all alone and feral, eating beans straight out of the can and Kaz shares the saddest dog story you’ll ever hear.
But it gets better! Kaz and Mike sit down and talk about some of the best father’s day watch gifts you can score for under $65. In fact, Mike likes one so much that he buys it on-air for his old man. Happy Father’s Day pops!
Finally, the snobs take some time to talk about the upcoming journey to Hong Kong, introduce a new way for the community to support TBWS, and say goodbye to a dad and all-around inspirational individual, Anthony Bourdain.

Great episode guys, but I’m going to take credit for subliminally planting the the Invicta diver (and the NH35) in your head when I described it in a comment to your 5/28 Instagram post. (https://www.instagram.com/p/BjVaE_ZHqo6/)
Hi Kaz, your Orient Neo70 is radio controlled through a ground based signal, not through a GPS signal. For the USA the signal is broadcasted from Fort Collins, Colorado. The US signal uses one of the two Japanese frequencies, so it may work.
Love the show. Watch out about the Birding hobby. It’s a major rat hole. Remember, the things fly and don’t like to be examined up close. Try hunting for one rare gull, shorebird, or blackbird out of a flock of thousands. It’s a fun, detail-oriented, never-ending, OCD-dangerous hobby. I’ve been doing it for 30 years and it’s fun. And good binoculars or a scope aren’t cheap.
