Zodiac and GiantMouse have teamed up on a collaborative Super Sea Wolf Pro Diver and dive knife set, bringing together two enthusiast communities that probably overlap more than we admit. The project reportedly began with a real-world connection at Windup Watch Fair, where GiantMouse founder Jim Worth and the Zodiac team started talking watches. Worth is known to be a legitimate vintage dive watch fan, and a vintage Zodiac in a similar color configuration helped shape the direction of this release. It feels organic, not like a branding exercise that started in a boardroom.
The watch anchoring the set is a 42mm stainless steel Super Sea Wolf Pro Diver with 300 meters of water resistance and a COSC-certified STP 1-21 inside. The dial is black with orange accents, paired to a light blue dive bezel. If you have been following Zodiac’s recent output, this sits comfortably within their modern design language. Colorful, confident, and playful. It doesn’t reinvent the platform, but it does reinforce what Zodiac has been leaning into for years.
The knife is where the collaboration sharpens up, literally and conceptually. GiantMouse developed a dedicated dive knife for this project, using black anodized aluminum for the handle to keep weight down to about 4.4 ounces, with an orange G10 inlay that mirrors the dial accents.
The 3.8 inch blade is N360 satin steel, chosen for corrosion resistance, and the handle measures 4.4 inches. According to the brands, the knife was tested in real diving conditions and includes practical elements like a liquid pass-through for rinsing salt water, an integrated line cutter, and partial serrations meant to deal with tangled nylon.
Is the watch itself dramatically different from other Super Sea Wolf Pro Divers? Not particularly. I think it reads as a strong colorway within a familiar formula. But as a bundled concept, the pairing makes a clearer statement about shared tool culture. This is less about a new bezel insert and more about acknowledging that a lot of us care about the things we carry, whether that is on the wrist or clipped to a pocket. The watch and knife are only available as a set, with retail pricing at $2,295. Let’s just hope we don’t see this showing up at TJ Maxx for $150 in a few months. I’m still rooting for you, Zodiac.
